Turning in Assignments
Paper-Based: Place completed assignments in appropriate class tray. Make sure your name and grade are clearly written.
Group Work
Group work helps you develop collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills – essential for scientists! Work cooperatively with your assigned group members. Stay on task and contribute. Use inside voices.
Classroom Materials
Common supplies (pencils, rulers, etc.) are located in bins on lab tables Science equipment will be distributed and collected by the teacher or designated students. Treat all materials with care.
Restroom Use
Use the restroom during passing periods whenever possible. If you must go during class, raise your hand and ask. Do not abuse this privilege.
Classroom Participation
Active participation is essential. This includes listening respectfully, asking questions, sharing ideas, and contributing to discussions. Raise your hand to speak. Respectful disagreement is welcome, but disruptive behavior is not.
Dismissal
Wait for the bell and the teacher's dismissal. Clean up your work area and return materials. Leave quietly and respectfully.
Student Absence
When able, student work will be sent home with an immediate family member including due dates. check google classroom for missed assignments and notes. Talk with a classmate to get notes and information! If you have questions, see me before or after class.
